I am currently pregnant and not married to the father of my baby. I live in California. Does anyone know the state laws in terms of who gets the baby's last name and what would be better for me. I dont know if the father is gonna stick around like he says. He wants the baby to have his last name but i'm kind of hesitant because I want to be able to have all the rights. Can anyone give me some advice. I might ask more questions since this being my first child.
